Cookie policy for FlexCore
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are typically used to remember your choices, measure how the site is used and deliver advertising. In addition to cookies, websites may use similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which store data directly in your browser. This policy covers all of these technologies under the umbrella term “cookies”.
2. Legal basis
The storage of, or access to, information on your device is regulated by Danish Executive Order no. 1148 of 9 December 2011 on requirements for information and consent when storing or accessing information on end-user terminal equipment (the Danish cookie order), which implements ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, Article 5(3). The subsequent processing of personal data is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), in particular Article 6(1)(a) (consent) for cookies that are not strictly necessary.
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function, including our consent cookie, do not require consent. All other cookies require your active consent.
3. Our consent solution
We use a self-hosted consent solution (Particulair CMP) that appears as a banner the first time you visit the site. Before you give consent, we set no non-necessary cookies, and Google Tag Manager fires no statistics or marketing tags.
The banner offers three actions:
- Accept all — all four categories are activated.
- Reject all — only necessary cookies are activated.
- Customise — opens a modal where you select category by category.
We use Google Consent Mode v2, which translates your choice into standardised signals to Google Tag Manager (container GTM-K5GG8ZDF), Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. Before you give consent, all advertising and analytics signals are set to denied, and GTM at most sends anonymous, cookieless pings to Google with no persistent identifier.
Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named particulair-consent. The cookie has a lifetime of 12 months from the last update, has path=/, SameSite=Lax and is set with the Secure flag on HTTPS. The content is a base64-encoded JSON containing your four category choices, schema version and a timestamp.
4. The four categories
Necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function and for us to remember your cookie choice. They cannot be turned off. Our consent cookie belongs to this category.
Preferences
Preference cookies remember choices you have made about the way the site is displayed, such as language or layout. The FlexCore Hub sets no active preference cookies today, but the category is reserved if we later add settings that remember your choices.
Statistics
Statistics cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager and help us understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store the full IP address of users, and GA4’s retention period for client-level data is set to 14 months.
Marketing
Marketing cookies are set by Google Ads via Google Tag Manager and are used to measure the effect of our ads and for remarketing. Our Weply chat widget also loads under the Marketing category, because it sets cookies and similar storage in your browser. You can therefore only use the chat function when you have given marketing consent.

The tables below list the specific cookies and storage entries we set or allow, as observed on the site at the time of the most recent update. The list may change when Google or Weply update their products. You can see the current state in your browser’s developer tools under “Storage”.

The list is not an exhaustive guarantee. Google may add supplementary cookies as part of their own service, and Weply may do the same. You retain control at all times through your category choice.
6. Withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Three mechanisms are available:
- The floating cookie button in the bottom-left corner of every page.
- The “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
- Any HTML element with the attribute
data-cmp-reopenopens the modal. Developers can also callwindow.particulairCmp.reopen()from the console.
All three paths open the same modal with your current choices pre-filled. If you save a new choice, the consent cookie is updated, and the signals to Google are sent again automatically. If you turn off the Marketing category, the Weply chat widget is removed from the page immediately and only returns if you later give consent again.
You can also manually delete the consent cookie particulair-consent in your browser. The banner will then appear again on the next page load.
7. YouTube videos
When we embed YouTube videos, we use the youtube-nocookie.com domain, which does not set cookies unless the user actively interacts with the video and has given marketing consent.
8. Third-party cookies and international transfers
Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager are provided by Google Ireland Limited in Ireland and operated technically by Google LLC in the USA. Weply chat is provided by Weply A/S in Denmark. When Google tags fire, personal data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. 10. Version date
This cookie policy is effective from 18 May 2026 and was last updated on 18 May 2026. Material changes are marked by a new “Last updated” date at the top of the page, and the banner is shown again when the change affects your existing consent.
