Vacuum cleaners for collecting jet fuels

Tiger-Vac vacuum solutions for collecting fuels and solvents are designed for the safe handling of highly flammable and health-hazardous substances in potentially explosive atmospheres.
They are engineered and built to empty and remove fuel residues from tanks and wing structures of military and civilian aircraft, as well as to collect fuel spills.

These models are ATEX certified by the notified body LCIE (NB 0081) in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU, and they also comply with the recommendations of NFPA 77 concerning electrostatic charge control.

All critical components ensure electrical continuity and grounding, with a total electrical resistance below 10 ohms – providing effective electrostatic discharge.

Many models are made of stainless steel (AISI 304), equipped with H14 HEPA filtration, and can be delivered with an activated carbon filter for adsorption of vapors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), or with a coalescing filter (CFE) for moisture removal.
Pneumatically powered versions use a single or double Venturi system for increased suction power, and many units are equipped with a hydraulic tilting system and ESD-safe wheels for electrostatic discharge protection.
