ATEX Zone 1/21 (Category 2GD) includes industrial vacuum cleaners approved for environments where combustible gases, vapours and dust may be present during normal operation. Category 2GD equipment provides external protection for both gas and dust and is suitable for continuous or frequent exposure to explosive atmospheres. These units are not certified for internal Zone 20 recovery but offer reliable operation in Gas Zone 1 and Dust Zone 21. Commonly used in pharmaceutical production, chemical processing, food industry and other medium-risk environments.
