Can the clamp be reopened?
No - 2-ear pincher is a single-use crimp construction. If you change the hose, you change the clamp. For reusable solutions we recommend worm-drive (ABA, Mikalor, Herkules) or T-bolt (CLAMP 211).
Which special pliers?
The manufacturer and other suppliers carry dedicated 2-ear pincher pliers. Standard pliers don't work - force must be concentrated on the ears specifically for correct crimp.
