Frequently asked questions
Difference from CLAMP 211?
CLAMP 211 is a T-bolt clamp - heavy-duty with greater force transfer. ABA is a worm-drive (screw clamp) - lighter construction for normal hose installations. ABA is typically cheaper and faster to install; T-bolt is chosen where maximum clamping force is required.
Which hoses?
ABA worm-drive is qualified for nearly all our hoses with smooth outer wall - PROTAPE, AIRBRAKE, SUPERFLEX. For strongly corrugated hoses we recommend bridge clamps (CLAMP 210/212) instead.
