BOSS sikrings-klemme til damp
BOSS safety clamp is developed to secure BOSS steam hose couplings (SKU 5410/5411) against separation under high steam pressure. The construction has 2 safety claws gripping into the hose's outer surface and preventing the hose from slipping back even if the coupling's screw grip fails. The material is galvanised forged steel - a combination withstanding strong-steam exposure without corrosion. Max temperature 210 deg C matches the BOSS steam coupling's range. Used as mandatory secondary securing in brewery, pharma and industrial process where the steam installation must not fail.

Why secondary securing?
Steam installations at high pressures and temperatures are particularly vulnerable to coupling failure due to thermal expansion, vibrations and steam hammers. Single-locking is not sufficient safety - safety claws provide a secondary mechanical securing gripping into the hose wall and preventing separation even if the primary locking fails. This is mandatory in brewery and pharma applications.
