CLAMP 210 BRIDGE
CLAMP 210 BRIDGE is a bridge clamp developed for externally corrugated spiral hoses. The special feature is the plastic bridge made of PA6 W1 - a glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide that provides electrical insulation and secure grip on the hose's spiral rib without damaging the outer material. The body band is galvanised steel and the screw similarly. 19 dimensions with clamping range from 25 mm to 209 mm cover the AIRDUC series' main range. Typically used in pneumatic conveying installations where the bridge construction is critical for secure grip and electrical insulation.

What is the bridge construction?
The bridge construction is the piece of material that bridges between the clamp's two ends and lays over the hose's spiral rib. CLAMP 210's bridge is made of PA6 W1 - a reinforced polyamide - which has two benefits: (1) electrical insulation so the clamp doesn't short-circuit between conductive hose surfaces; (2) gentle grip that doesn't damage the hose's outer rib. The bridge is critical for secure holding force on corrugated hoses.
Which hoses fit?
CLAMP 210 BRIDGE is developed specifically for externally corrugated spiral hoses - this covers the AIRDUC PUR series (350, 351, 355, 356), AIRDUC PVC (341, 345) and similar hoses with pronounced outer spiral ribs. For smooth outer wall hoses we recommend CLAMP 208 or CLAMP 211. For ATEX/EC-relevant installations we recommend CLAMP 212 EC which has integral grounding.
Is the clamp electrically insulating?
The PA6 plastic bridge is electrically insulating, but the body band is galvanised steel and thus conductive. In practice this means two hoses connected with CLAMP 210 BRIDGE will not contact through the bridge, but possibly via the metal band if it touches the hose's conductive elements. For ATEX/ESD applications we recommend CLAMP 212 EC which specifically has integral grounding.
Are clamps sold individually?
Yes. Each dimension has its own article number. For pre-assembled hose sets with clamps on both ends, we advise on dimension configuration based on the hose's outer corrugation diameter.
