CLAMP 216

CLAMP 216 is specifically designed for heavy externally corrugated spiral hoses - i.e. hoses with pronounced outer spiral ribs. This covers the full AIRDUC series (350, 351, 355, 356), the AIRDUC PVC series and similar hoses with corrugated outer profile. The clamp ensures a watertight mounting by clamping on the rib structure itself. For hoses with smooth outer wall, we recommend CLAMP 211 instead.

Body: stainless steel grade 1.4016. Screw: chromated steel. The stainless body provides corrosion resistance against moisture and chemicals in most industrial environments. The chromated steel screw provides both strength and rust protection. The material combination is chosen to withstand challenging industrial environments without compromising clamping force.

Standard screw clamps (worm-drive) tend to slip down into the rib gaps on corrugated hoses, giving uneven clamping force. CLAMP 216's construction is designed to grip the top of the rib structure and distribute clamping force evenly - the result is a watertight mounting without local leak points. This is a critical difference when conveying dust, granulates or liquid media under pressure or vacuum.

31 dimensions cover from ID 42 mm to 400 mm. This covers the bulk of the AIRDUC catalogue (typically ID 38-400 mm). For smaller hoses, we recommend aba worm-drive clamp or HERKULES hose clamp instead. For larger custom hoses, we can advise on special clamps on request.

Yes. Each dimension has its own article number, and clamps are sold per piece. For pre-assembled hose sets with clamps on both ends, we advise on dimension configuration based on the hose's ID - send us a specification and we'll assemble.
