CONNECT 223 shrink sleeve

CONNECT 223 is a shrink sleeve that via heating shrinks around the hose and stub to form a permanent joint. The material is a thermoplastic that contracts when heated, mechanically and thermally locking the hose. Used where a permanent vibration-resistant joint is critical - typically in industrial process or marine applications.

How is the sleeve installed?

The sleeve is slid on, position adjusted, and then heated (typically heat gun) to 120-150 deg C until fully shrunk. The result is a permanent joint that cannot be removed without cutting the sleeve.
