CONNECT 243

CONNECT 243 is a flanged pipe (flange-equipped pipe section) developed for the most widely used pipe connection systems in the ventilation sector. The construction is galvanised sheet metal with black outer coating providing high abrasion resistance, chemical and microbe resistance. The pipe dimensions match the ventilation pipe connection range ID 80 to 250 mm in 6 standard dimensions. Typically used where an AIRDUC hose line must connect to a standard flange installation - e.g. in industrial ventilation, dust extraction or process air systems where the flange mounting surfaces must be consistent with the existing pipe system.

What is a flanged pipe?

A flanged pipe is a pipe section with flange attachment at one or both ends. The construction allows the hose to connect to standardised pipe connection systems in ventilation installations. The flange surfaces have bolt holes matching the most widely used ventilation flange standards. This is a basic solution when an AIRDUC hose line must integrate with an existing steel pipe system.

Which hoses?

CONNECT 243 is qualified for the AIRDUC PUR series (350, 351, 355) and AIRDUC PVC (341, 345). The 6 dimensions ID 80-250 mm cover the most frequent process installation sizes in industrial ventilation and dust extraction.

Difference from CONNECT 244?

CONNECT 243 is a full flanged pipe - the entire pipe section including flange. CONNECT 244 is a 2-part loose flange per DIN 2632/2633 - the flange is delivered as a separate part that can be mounted on an existing pipe end. Choose CONNECT 243 if you need a complete pipe section; choose CONNECT 244 if you are retrofitting a flange on an existing hose.
