Europa fjeder-belastet kontraventil

Europa is a spring-loaded check valve developed for water and gas installations where one-way flow must be secured. The construction has female thread on both sides per BSPP/G-thread, making it easy to integrate into existing pipe systems. The body material is brass - a standard material withstanding normal water process without corrosion. The seal is NBR and the sealing plate stainless steel 1.4301. The spring is similarly stainless steel 1.4301. The valve can be installed horizontally, vertically or oblique (universal orientation). Working pressure varies 18-25 bar depending on dimension. Typically used in process water installations, water treatment and pneumatics where backflow must be prevented.

Frequently asked questions

What is a check valve?

A check valve allows flow in only one direction and blocks backflow. The spring-loaded construction means the valve automatically closes at minimal pressure reversal - without need for external actuation. This is critical in process installations where backflow could contaminate upstream systems or damage pumps.

For which media?

Brass body + NBR seal cover normal water process, non-aggressive liquids and air/gas. For strongly corrosive media or high temperatures, we recommend stainless steel alternatives. Always cross-check media resistance before ordering.

Which orientation?

Universal - can be mounted horizontally, vertically or oblique. This is an advantage in tight installations where specific orientation would otherwise be required.
