Perrot kobling-system

Perrot is a German coupling system developed for high-pressure water and slurry transport, particularly in agriculture and construction sites. Our Perrot coupling is a female coupling with safety clamp assembly type CK 78 - a combination of hose tail, safety collar, lever lock ring, beaker and sealring ensuring a leak-free joint under high pressures. The material is hot dip galvanised steel withstanding slurry, chemicals and UV exposure better than standard galvanising. The seal is SBR. Typically used on agricultural pump installations, slurry tankers and industrial water transport where robustness and frequent disassembly are required.

Frequently asked questions

What is Perrot?

Perrot is a German coupling system from Perrot-Regnerbau-Werke, originally developed for high-pressure water installations in agriculture. The system is widely used in Europe for slurry transport, irrigation and industrial water transport where robust mechanical construction and frequent disassembly are critical. Construction is typically hot dip galvanised steel and includes safety claws preventing separation under pressure.

What does CK 78 mean?

CK 78 is the Perrot system's catalogue designation for a specific coupling configuration: female coupling with safety clamp assembly. It includes hose tail, safety collar, lever lock ring, beaker and sealring as integrated unit. Other Perrot configurations (male coupling, blank cap, thread adapter) have their own type designations.

Why hot dip galvanised?

Hot dip galvanising provides a thicker zinc layer than standard galvanising - typically 50-100 micrometers vs 5-25 micrometers. This is critical in slurry applications where organic acids and UV exposure degrade standard galvanised surfaces. Hot dip typically provides 20+ years durability in agricultural applications.
