Hose tail
Hose tail is a base coupling that has a cylindrical or ribbed stub on one side (hose side) and a thread or flange on the other side (pipe connection side). The hose is pushed onto the stub and typically fastened via an external clamp (worm-drive, T-bolt or crimp). The construction is the most used hose-to-pipe coupling in industry.
