Why this hose?
NORDUC PA 134 is a corrugated protection hose made of PA6. It is highly flexible and liquid-tight and is used to protect cables where they run in electrical and switch cabinet installations and in switchgear.
The hose is rated IP 68 to EN/IEC 60529 and flame-retardant to UL94-HB. It withstands temperatures from −40°C to +125°C.
Where it is used
The hose is used in switch cabinets, switchgear and electrical installations where cables need protection from outside influences.
On machines, machine tools and welding robots it is used for cable routing where the cables move.
In everyday talk we call it a cable protection conduit.

Frequently asked questions
Is it ATEX-approved?
No. There is no ATEX documentation for the hose, and we do not offer it for use in Ex zones.
What does IP 68 mean?
IP 68 to EN/IEC 60529 means the hose is dust-tight and protected against continuous immersion in water under the conditions stated by the manufacturer.
What does UL94-HB mean?
UL94 is a flammability classification for plastics. HB is the lowest class: the material burns slowly in a horizontal test, below a set burning rate. It is not self-extinguishing like classes V-0 to V-2.
Which sizes are available?
Eight sizes with inner diameter from 8.4 to 47.7 mm. The five smallest come in 50 m, the three largest in 25 m.
Can I get it cut to length?
Yes. We cut the hose to length.
