Expert advice for when the material will not leave the silo
Call, email or fill in the form. We help you work out why the material stops, and which technology gets it flowing again — vibrator, air cannon, hammer, fluidisation or a vibrating silo bottom.

Expected response time
We respond to enquiries within one working day on weekdays. Complex enquiries about certificates, chemical resistance or custom solutions may require closer review, but we always come back with a status update within two working days.
What helps us respond accurately
- Which material is involved, and how fine and how moist it is.
- Media and operating conditions: what is conveyed, at what temperatures and pressures.
- Internal diameter, length, and whether crimped end fittings are needed (tri-clamp, threaded, sleeve).
- Documentation requirements (ATEX certificate, food contact, USP, REACH/RoHS, leak test).
- Volume and timeframe — one-off purchase, recurring deliveries, or project.
- What the problem looks like: a bridge over the outlet, a tunnel through the middle, residual material along the wall, or uncontrolled discharge.
- The size of the silo, its material, wall thickness and the angle of the hopper.
- The compressed air available: pressure, volume and whether the air is dry.
- Whether the installation is in an ATEX zone, and if so which one.
- Whether equipment is already fitted, and what it cannot do.
- Drawings, photos or datasheets we can start from.
Frequently asked questions
When can we call Particulair?
Our phone is staffed Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 15:00 (Central European Time). Outside opening hours, send an email to sales@particulair.com and we will reply on the next working day.
How quickly do you reply to emails?
We respond to enquiries within one working day on weekdays. Complex enquiries about certificates, chemical resistance or custom solutions may require closer review, but we always come back with a status update within two working days.
Can you visit our site to see the installation?
Yes. For larger projects or complex installations we are happy to come on site and review the setup. A great deal can often be clarified by phone or online meeting first — reviewing drawings, photos or existing documentation together — which often saves both time and travel.
Do you use online meetings?
Yes. We are happy to hold online meetings via kMeet (Infomaniak's European, privacy-friendly video meeting solution), Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. It works well when reviewing drawings, sizing requirements or documentation together, without the need for a physical visit.
Does Particulair operate an out-of-hours emergency service?
We do not run a technical emergency service, but the chat window in the lower right corner is staffed 24/7, every day of the week. The operators cannot answer technical questions, but they log your enquiry and ensure it sits at the top of the inbox when the office opens.
On weekends and public holidays they will also try to reach a member of staff for genuinely urgent matters. For urgent production stoppages we also recommend sending an email with a clear description of the situation, so we can prioritise it.
Is the chat window staffed by a real person?
Yes. The chat window in the lower right corner is staffed by a real person 24/7, every day of the week — not a chatbot. The operators cannot answer technical questions, but they take your enquiry and ensure it is handled first thing when the office opens.

Which languages can we contact you in?
In principle, any European language. Our primary working languages are Danish, English and German, but for enquiries in other European languages we use an AI translator to ensure that you can write to us in your own language and receive a complete reply.
Can we send an RFQ or a drawing for review?
Yes. Please send your RFQ, drawing, datasheet or photo as an attachment to sales@particulair.com. The more concrete material we have, the more precisely we can come back — on choice of technology, placement, sizing and documentation.
Does Particulair deliver to all of the Nordics and the EU?
Yes. We deliver throughout the EU. The Nordics and Poland are our primary markets. Contact us for lead times and freight options for your country.
