VANITY Food / Pharma is a rubber bristle brush with integrated rubber lamellae moulded as a single unit with the body — there are no loose bristles that can detach and contaminate products. Available in two material variants: colour-coded NDA rubber for hygiene zone systems, or transparent FDA silicone for cleanrooms and pharmaceutical production.

What is the difference between the NDA and silicone variants?

The NDA variant is available in 5 colours (blue, white, yellow, red, green) and is FDA-documented per 21 CFR 177.2600. It is suited for colour-coded hygiene systems in food production. The silicone variant (Wacker R 4001 80) is transparent, tolerates a wider temperature range (−60°C to +200°C) and is also documented per BfR Recommendation XV, making it particularly suited for cleanrooms and pharmaceutical environments.

Why is VANITY better than a bristle brush at conveyor belts?

Traditional brushes can lose individual bristles during use, which may end up in products on the conveyor belt. VANITY’s integrated rubber lamellae are moulded as a single unit and cannot come apart during normal operation — there are no loose parts that can contaminate production.

What does “Ø50 inner” mean?

On the Ø50 inner variant, the handle fits inside the body rather than outside. The inner connection diameter is Ø50 mm, while the outer diameter of the lamella disk is larger. Please specify “Ø50 inner” clearly when ordering.

Can the lamellae be replaced when worn?

The lamellae are integrated and cannot be replaced separately — it is a single moulded unit. When the lamellae are worn, the entire brush is replaced. Contact us for pricing.

Which diameter should I choose?

VANITY Food / Pharma is available in Ø38, Ø40 and Ø50 mm (inner). Choose the diameter that matches the pipe system on your vacuum unit. Contact us if you are unsure.
