BAGGERMAN SUPERCHEM®/UPE/EN
Chemical hose with electrically conductive UPE liner
SUPERCHEM®/UPE/EN is a flexible suction and discharge hose for the transfer of acids, alkalis, salts, alcohols, esters, ketones and other organic compounds. The hose meets EN 12115:2011 and is electrically conductive, making it suitable for use in ATEX-classified areas where static electricity must be safely dissipated. The UPE liner and EPDM cover provide high chemical resistance and reliable operation.
Technical note
SUPERCHEM®/UPE/EN differs from standard chemical hoses by its double 0.2 mm UPE barrier and documented electrical resistance values in accordance with EN 12115. It is designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres where conductive and aggressive media are handled. The UPE + EPDM combination ensures chemical resistance, flexibility and robustness against ozone and weathering. Ideal for chemical plants, laboratories, process units and tank installations.
