Antistatic food-grade PU hose with copper wire – lightweight and flexible design
BAGGERMAN AIRFLEX®/PU/AS/FOOD is a lightweight, highly flexible polyurethane (PU) suction and transport hose with embedded copper wire for antistatic discharge. The hose is designed for conveying both liquid and dry food products, including oily and fatty foods, sugar, grain and powders. Its smooth inner surface ensures excellent flow and easy cleaning in food and process systems.
Applications
Suitable for all types of food – liquid, oily and dry products – up to +40 °C.
Can also be used for air, dust, powder, wood chips, chemical vapours and insulation materials.
Commonly used in food processing, packaging, filling and dosing systems where flexibility, hygiene and antistatic safety are required.
Properties and approvals
- Complies with EU Regulation 10/2011 (simulants A, B, C, D1, D2 and E) and EC 1935/2004 for food contact.
- Permanently antistatic via embedded copper wire – can be grounded.
- Extremely flexible and wear-resistant PU hose with mirror-smooth inner wall.
- Temperature range: −25 °C to +85 °C (short-term up to +90 °C).
- Light, transparent construction with blue spiral for easy visual inspection.
