Antistatic food-grade PU hose with copper wire – high flexibility and abrasion resistance
BAGGERMAN NORPLAST® PUR 386 SCIROPPO® PU FOOD AS is a flexible and wear-resistant suction and discharge hose made of polyurethane (PU) with a smooth inner surface and an embedded copper wire for antistatic discharge. The hose is designed for conveying powdery or granular foodstuffs up to 40 °C. It combines low weight, excellent flexibility and high abrasion resistance in a transparent, hygienic construction.
Applications
Ideal for conveying and suction of dry and granular food products such as flour, sugar, grains, coffee, spices and similar materials in:
- Food and beverage processing
- Packaging and filling systems
- Dosing and mixing equipment
- Automatic conveying systems for powders and granulates
Properties and approvals
- Complies with EU 10/2011 (Category E), EU 1935/2004 and LFGB for food contact.
- Permanently antistatic through embedded copper wire (groundable).
- Highly flexible and abrasion-resistant PU wall (0.5 mm) with smooth interior for easy cleaning and optimal flow.
- Reinforced with rigid PVC spiral and corrugated outer layer for extra stability.
- Temperature range: −15 °C to +60 °C.
- Transparent wall with orange spiral for visual control and food hygiene.
Design
1 = Inner wall: clear polyurethane (PU), 0.5 mm thick
2 = Outer wall: flexible PVC with corrugated surface
3 = Reinforcement: rigid PVC spiral with copper wire (antistatic)
