Dairy coupling in stainless steel – DIN 2826 / 11851
The NORRES CONNECT DAIRY FITTING 247 is a hygienic stainless-steel coupling designed for vacuum and process systems in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Made of stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316Ti, it includes a light blue NBR seal approved for food contact. Available as a tapered or threaded adapter according to DIN 2826 / 11851 and can be supplied pre-assembled, gas- and liquid-tight.
Properties and design
- Standard: DIN 2826 / 11851.
- Materials: stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304) or 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti).
- Light blue NBR seal – food-grade approved.
- Temperature range: −40 °C to +90 °C.
- Complies with RoHS and REACH.
- Available as gas- and liquid-tight pre-assembled version.
Applications
Used in vacuum conveying systems, dosing equipment, vacuum hoppers, pelleting and tablet pressing machines for food and pharmaceutical production where hygiene, cleanability and tightness are essential.
Technical note
DIN 11851 (dairy) fittings are designed for hygienic applications with CIP and SIP cleaning requirements. The AISI 316Ti version is recommended for higher corrosion resistance and frequent exposure to cleaning acids. The NBR seal should not be used with strong solvents or fats at elevated temperatures.
