NORRES CONNECT 243
Flanged pipe for NORRES hoses – compatible with ventilation systems such as the Jacob standard
NORRES CONNECT 243 is a galvanized flanged pipe designed for secure and tight connections between spiral hoses and duct systems in ventilation, extraction and material transport. Available as a threaded reusable version or as a pre-fitted gas- and liquid-tight version. The inner wall is made of high-quality ether-polyurethane (Pre-PUR®), providing excellent resistance to abrasion, oil, gasoline, chemicals, microbes and hydrolysis.
Properties and construction
- Easy and quick to install – reusable threaded version.
- Gas- and liquid-tight in pre-fitted version.
- Highly abrasion-resistant, oil- and chemical-resistant.
- Temperature range –40 °C to +60 °C.
- Wall made of premium Pre-PUR® (ether polyurethane); flange in galvanized steel or stainless INOX.
- Complies with RoHS and REACH regulations.
Applications
For connecting NORRES hoses to pipework in ventilation and extraction systems requiring fast, tight and durable joints. Suitable for AIRDUC®, PROTAPE®, CP and TIMBERDUC® series.
Technical note
Flanged pipes such as CONNECT 243 are used where mechanical stability and electrical continuity between hose and installation are required. In ATEX installations, all components (hose, coupling, pipe and flange) must form part of a continuous equipotential bonding system. The threaded version can be reused for service and maintenance, while the pre-fitted version ensures maximum tightness where required.
Recommended accessories
- CLAMP 211 / 212 / 213 – clamps for fastening spiral and smooth hoses.
- CONNECT 270 – 271 – stainless couplings for process and food applications.
