NORRES CONNECT 227 STD/AS/EC

Soft PVC sleeve for EVA hoses – available in standard, antistatic and electrically conductive versions

The NORRES CONNECT 227 STD/AS/EC is a flexible soft-PVC sleeve designed for quick and tight connection of EVA hoses to industrial vacuum cleaners and extraction systems. It is available in three versions – standard (STD), antistatic (AS) and electrically conductive (EC, <10⁶ Ω) – providing a durable, chemical-resistant and reusable connection for light and medium-duty applications.

Properties and construction

  • Quick and easy installation – reusable.
  • Good resistance to acids, alkalis and many chemicals.
  • Made of soft PVC; EC version is electrically conductive (<10⁶ Ω).
  • Temperature range – 20 °C to +70 °C (short-term up to 80 °C).
  • Complies with RoHS and REACH regulations.

Applications

For connecting EVA hoses to industrial vacuum cleaners, stationary extraction systems, suction units and cleaning equipment. Suitable wherever a flexible, electrically safe or chemical-resistant connection between hose and machine is required.

Technical note

In ATEX installations, the correct version must be selected according to the risk of electrostatic charge. The antistatic (AS) and electrically conductive (EC) versions ensure low surface resistance and may be used in equipotential bonding systems. The standard (STD) version should only be used in non-explosive atmospheres.

Recommended accessories

  • CLAMP 211 / 212 – hose clamps for tight and secure fixation.
  • CONNECT 228 / 233 – adapter and coupling components for AIRDUC® and PROTAPE® hoses.
