NORRES CONNECT 270-271

Metal hose connector and reducer – galvanized or stainless steel version

The NORRES CONNECT 270-271 series consists of robust metal connectors and reducers made of galvanized steel. They are used to connect or reduce between two industrial hoses in ventilation, extraction, and vacuum systems. The series is also available in stainless-steel (INOX) on request and can withstand temperatures up to 200 °C.

Properties and construction

  • Easy and quick installation – reusable (threaded version).
  • Galvanized steel with high mechanical strength.
  • Also available in stainless-steel (INOX) on request.
  • Temperature resistance up to 200 °C.
  • Complies with RoHS and REACH regulations.

Applications

For connecting and joining NORRES hoses in ventilation, process, and extraction systems. Suitable for industrial and workshop installations where a stable and airtight metal connection is required instead of plastic. The reducer versions are used to transition between two hose diameters.

Technical note

CONNECT 270-271 ensures a mechanically strong and heat-resistant connection capable of handling high airflows and thermal stress. In ATEX installations, however, the correct hose and coupling combination must be chosen to maintain equipotential bonding throughout the system. Galvanized steel provides good electrical continuity between components.

Variants

  • CONNECT 270 – connector: same diameter on both ends (hose ↔ hose).
  • CONNECT 271 – reducer: transition between two different diameters (hose ↔ hose).

Recommended accessories

  • CLAMP 211 / 212 / 217 – hose clamps for secure fixing.
  • CONNECT 228 – adapter components for other coupling types.
