Delfin DG30 EXP 1/2D
Three-phase ATEX Zone 21 industrial vacuum for combustible dust
The Delfin DG30 EXP 1/2D is a powerful three-phase industrial vacuum cleaner with a side channel blower, designed for safe collection of combustible and conductive dust in Zone 21 and 20. It is supplied as standard with a stainless steel collection tank (AISI 304) and is also available in XX (tank and filter chamber in stainless steel) and XXX (tank, filter, frame, and cover fully in AISI 304) versions.
- Zone classification: II 1/2D Ex h IIIC T160°C Da/Db.
- Motor: Three-phase 400 V, 4 kW – side channel blower with IP65 protection.
- Filter: Antistatic polyester class M and HEPA H14 (99.995% MPPS method).
- Capacity: 100 L – AISI 304 stainless steel tank as standard.
- Compliant with EN 17348 and EN IEC 62784:2018 standards.
Technical construction
The DG30 EXP 1/2D is designed for continuous operation in hazardous dust zones. The side channel blower provides up to 2400 mm H₂O vacuum and an airflow of 420 m³/h. The antistatic polyester filter (30,000 cm²) can be manually cleaned and is complemented by a HEPA H14 final filter with 26,000 cm² surface area. The robust construction ensures low noise (72 dB(A)) and long service life in demanding industrial environments.
Safety and certification
- ATEX-certified according to Category 1/2D – for internal Zone 20 and external Zone 21.
- Conductive air path and components with ESD grounding.
- All electrical components are dust-tight (IP65) and tested to EN IEC 62784.
- Complies with EN 17348 for combustible dust collection.
Technical note
In industries handling combustible or conductive dust – such as pharmaceutical, biotech, food, and metal powder processing – grounding, conductivity and air-tightness are crucial. DG30 EXP 1/2D is certified for internal Zone 20 (Da) and external Zone 21 (Db), allowing direct collection of explosive dust inside the containment area. Use only antistatic D50 accessory kit TA.0201.0000 and ensure regular grounding tests below 10⁶ Ω to maintain full ATEX compliance.
