Large Silicone Cone – White Line (Food/FDA)
Product description
Large Silicone Cone – White Line is a conical nozzle for industrial vacuum cleaning systems, manufactured from transparent silicone. The nozzle is designed for cleaning operations in food and pharmaceutical production environments where materials suitable for food contact, easy cleaning and high temperature resistance are required.
The conical design with a sectioned geometry supports precise and controlled collection of very fine materials such as powders and dust, as well as lightweight process residues.
The nozzle is supplied with an overall length of approximately 255–300 mm, depending on the diameter.
What can the product be used for
- Vacuum cleaning of very fine dust and powders in hygienic environments
- Collection of process materials and light residues in food and pharmaceutical areas
- Cleaning in production areas with high requirements for material selection and temperature resistance
Industries using the product
- Food industry
- Pharmaceutical industry
- Process industries with a focus on hygiene
Technical note
The White Line variant is manufactured from transparent silicone based on silicone compound R 4001 80. According to the manufacturer, the compound is produced using polymers from Wacker Chemie that are recommended for applications involving contact with food.
The manufacturer’s documentation states that the raw materials comply with the requirements of BfR Recommendation XV (“Silicones”) and FDA CFR 177.2600 for silicone materials intended for food contact.
The manufacturer further states that it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to ensure that moulding and finishing processes comply with the above recommendations, and that the end user must verify compatibility between the material and the specific food product.
