Fact box
The black NBR material (MM019NN) has an electrical resistance of 5–50 kΩ (bulk resistivity). Aspirogom declares the component as antistatic. It can be used in ATEX- and ESD-controlled environments as part of a correctly bonded and grounded system. According to ATEX/ESD standards (TRGS 727, EN 1127-1, NFPA 77 and EN 80079-36), it is the customer's responsibility to verify the safety of the complete system, including correct bonding/grounding of hoses, nozzles, pipes, equipment and operator workflow.
FAQ
Which dimensions are available?
SHARK ATEX is available in Ø38 / Ø40 / Ø44 mm. This single product page covers all variants. Larger diameters may be slightly longer/wider.
Which hoses does it fit?
Fits hoses and couplings with matching nominal diameter (Ø38, Ø40 or Ø44 mm).
Can it be used in ATEX/ESD areas?
Yes. It is antistatic NBR and suitable for ATEX/ESD-controlled environments when installed in a correctly bonded system.
Is it suitable for food/pharma applications?
No. For these applications, choose silicone (FDA) variants instead.
