The Tiger-Vac CD-100L (DT) EX (MFS) CAT. 2GD Z1-21 is a high-performance ATEX-certified industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the safe recovery of combustible and conductive dusts in areas classified as Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust). Fully tested and certified by notified body LCIE (0081) according to both ATEX and IECEx standards, this model is engineered for use in high-risk explosive atmospheres. The robust stainless steel (AISI 304) construction, manual filter shaker (MFS), ESD-safe components and large 100 L detachable tank make the unit ideal for continuous duty in demanding industrial environments.

Technical design
The CD-100L 2GD model is engineered for operation in atmospheres with both gas and dust explosion hazards. The motor enclosure is Ex db-rated, and the filter chamber and internal airflow path are certified for Category 1 (Ga/Da), allowing safe direct collection of explosive dust inside the unit. The Manual Filter Shaker (MFS) system releases accumulated dust without using compressed air. All components in the airflow are made of Type 304 stainless steel, and the system’s total resistance is below 10 Ω.

Technical note
This model combines ATEX Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust) approval with internal Zone 0/20 certification, enabling direct recovery of combustible or conductive dust inside the filter housing and tank. The MFS system and detachable tank offer long operating cycles and low operator exposure during disposal. Conductive hoses and ESD-safe accessories must always be used to maintain proper grounding resistance throughout the system.
