The Tiger-Vac CD/EUR-36L EX DT (MFS) ULPA SS is a high-performance ATEX and IECEx certified industrial vacuum cleaner designed for use in pharmaceutical production, food processing, chemical facilities, additive manufacturing and cleanroom environments. Built entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel and equipped with both ULPA U15 (downstream) and HEPA H14 (upstream) filtration as standard, this model offers maximum air purity and safety when handling combustible, explosive and conductive dusts.
- External classification: II 1/2GD – approved for Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust).
- Internal classification: Zone 0/20 (Ga/Da) – certified for safe recovery of combustible dust inside the vacuum.
- Certificates: IECEx LCI 10.0040X and ATEX LCIE 03 ATEX 6295 X (Notified Body 0081).
- Filtration (included): ULPA U15 downstream (99.999%) + HEPA H14 upstream (99.995%).
- Main filter: SD* PTFE star-shaped filter (8,584 cm²) with Manual Filter Shaker (MFS).
- Construction: Full stainless steel AISI 304, SS Cart with tool tray, static-dissipative wheels.
- Motor options: 230 V single-phase (1.5 kW) or 400 V three-phase (2.2 kW), TEFC explosion-proof.
- Dust recovery: 36 L detachable tank (DT) with optional conductive poly liner.
- Sound level: 72 dB(A) with stainless-steel muffler (included).
Technical construction and filtration
This ULPA model features the highest filtration level offered in Tiger-Vac’s EX series. According to the brochure (page 1), the unit is delivered with both ULPA U15 and HEPA H14 installed from factory, making it ready for ISO Class 4 cleanroom environments. The PTFE SD* filter provides a large surface area and is washable, antistatic and designed for ATEX zones. The MFS system allows manual filter cleaning without compressed air.

Technical note
The ULPA U15 (downstream) + HEPA H14 (upstream) configuration provides the highest filtration performance, suitable for hazardous dusts, APIs, metal powders and toxic materials. The system is certified for internal Zone 0/20, eliminating ignition risks inside the vacuum. For metal powder and pyrotechnic dusts, EX-approved tools and proper grounding are mandatory (see page 2 of the technical sheet).
