Delfin DG VL 125 ACD
ACD industrial vacuum cleaner for combustible dust in non-ATEX classified areas
The Delfin DG VL 125 ACD is the most powerful model in the VL series, designed for the safe collection of combustible or hazardous dust in non-ATEX classified areas. Built according to IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA and classified as a Class H vacuum cleaner under EN 60335-2-69, it features an 11 kW three-phase side-channel blower rated for continuous operation (24/7). The unit delivers high suction power for central vacuum systems and heavy-duty industrial cleaning.
- Manufactured according to IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA (ACD standard) and EN 17348.
- H-class vacuum cleaner for combustible and hazardous dust.
- Motor: three-phase 400 V – 11 kW – IP55 – continuous duty.
- Filter: antistatic polyester M with automatic SELF CLEAN system and final HEPA H14 filter.
- Container: 160 L steel with tangential inlet and cyclonic separation.
- Ideal for stationary or central vacuum systems with long hoses and multiple simultaneous users.
Technical design
The DG VL 125 ACD is powered by a high-performance side-channel blower enabling constant operation and strong vacuum (max. 5,000 mm H₂O). The primary filter of 80,000 cm² is made of antistatic polyester (Class M) and is automatically cleaned via the SELF CLEAN system with an integrated compressor. The final HEPA H14 filter (52,000 cm²) is tested according to EN 1822-5 with 99.995 % efficiency (MPPS method). All conductive components are properly grounded in compliance with EN 17348.
Safety and certification
- ACD-built according to IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA and EN 17348.
- Certified as a Class H vacuum cleaner (EN 60335-2-69 Annex AA).
- Not intended for ATEX-classified zones, but compliant with containment and filtration requirements for combustible dust in ordinary environments.
- Equipped with HEPA H14 filter (99.995 % efficiency, EN 1822-5).
- Automatic SELF CLEAN system with integrated compressor.
Technical note
The Delfin DG VL 125 ACD is designed for heavy-duty industrial cleaning and central vacuum systems handling large quantities of combustible or hazardous dust. The construction follows IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA, which defines requirements for containment, filtration, and leakage control. It is ideal for chemical production, powder handling, surface treatment, and additive manufacturing — where the dust itself is combustible, but the surrounding atmosphere is non-explosive.

FAQ
What does ACD classification mean?
ACD stands for Applied for Combustible Dust and indicates that the vacuum cleaner is built according to IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA with defined requirements for containment, filtration, and safe handling of combustible dust in non-ATEX classified environments.
Is the Delfin DG VL 125 ACD third-party certified?
No. The model is not third-party certified, but Delfin declares conformity with IEC 60335-2-69 Annex AA and EN 17348.
What filter class does the vacuum have?
Primary filter in antistatic polyester M and final HEPA H14 (99.995 % efficiency, EN 1822-5).
Can it be used in Zone 22?
No. ACD models are intended for general production areas where dust is combustible but the atmosphere is non-explosive. For Zone 22 applications, a 1/3D model should be selected.
How is the filter cleaned?
Through the automatic SELF CLEAN system with an internal compressor that cleans the filter during operation.
