The Delfin DG VL 185 1/2D is the most powerful three-phase industrial vacuum in Delfin’s ATEX range. Equipped with a 18.5 kW side channel blower, 160 L stainless steel tank and a fully ATEX-certified filtration system, it is designed for continuous duty in production areas classified as Zone 21 and internal Zone 20.
The standard version comes with a stainless steel tank (AISI 304), while the XX version also includes a stainless steel filter chamber – ideal for pharmaceutical, biotech and food industries.

Technical construction
The DG VL 185 1/2D features an Ex tb-certified control panel and a high-efficiency filtration system consisting of a 70,000 cm² antistatic polyester primary filter and a HEPA H14 final filter with 103,500 cm² surface area.
It delivers up to 2,600 mm H₂O vacuum and 1,350 m³/h airflow.
The robust design ensures reliability, long service intervals and stable suction power under heavy industrial use.
Safety and certification

- All components in the airflow path are conductive and ESD-safe.

Technical note
The DG VL 185 1/2D is engineered for the most demanding industrial applications involving multiple operators or long piping systems.
It can be installed as a central vacuum unit or used standalone in process zones with conductive or combustible dust.
The SELF CLEAN system automatically maintains suction without compressed air and reduces maintenance needs.
For full ATEX compliance, conductive hoses and accessories should always be used, and grounding resistance kept below 10⁶ Ω.
