Delfin DM 3 EL ACD 1/-D
ACD industrial vacuum for combustible dust – 3 motors and HEPA H14 filter
The Delfin DM 3 EL ACD 1/-D is a powerful ACD-certified industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the safe collection of combustible dust and solid particles in non-classified areas, where ATEX certification is not required but potentially explosive or conductive dusts are present. The unit is equipped with three bypass motors (total 3.3 kW), a stainless steel AISI 304 container, and HEPA H14 final filtration tested according to EN 1822-5.
- Classification: ACD – Applied for Combustible Dust according to IEC 60335-2-69 (Annex AA).
- Certified by a Notified Body for internal Zone 20 in accordance with EN 17348:2022.
- Voltage: 230 V – 1~ – 50/60 Hz.
- Capacity: 60 L – AISI 304 stainless steel container.
- Filter: antistatic class M 30,000 cm² + HEPA H14 26,000 cm².
- Airflow: 540 m³/h – vacuum: 2,500 mm H₂O.
- Noise level: 76 dB(A).
Technical construction
The DM 3 EL ACD is driven by three independent bypass motors providing a total power of 3.3 kW for high suction performance. The large star-shaped antistatic polyester filter (class M) offers 30,000 cm² of surface area and is cleaned manually via a mechanical shaking system. The HEPA H14 final filter (26,000 cm²) ensures 99.995 % efficiency tested according to EN 1822 (MPPS method). All air-handling components are made of AISI 304 stainless steel with ESD safe design.
Safety and certification
- ACD according to IEC 60335-2-69, Annex AA – dust-tight and secure construction.
- Internally certified for Zone 20 by Notified Body in accordance with EN 17348:2022.
- Suitable for the collection of explosive or conductive dust in non-classified areas.
- Delivered with accessory kit TA.1305.0000 (Ø 51 mm).
- Optional kit TA.1269.0000 (Ø 38 mm) available for high-level cleaning.
Technical note
The DM 3 EL ACD 1/-D combines the ACD requirements for tightness and filtration with a documented Zone 20 certification by a Notified Body. This means the vacuum cleaner can safely collect combustible dust internally even when the surrounding environment is not classified as an ATEX zone. ACD models are ideal for maintenance, cleaning and decontamination in areas where dusts may be electrically conductive or explosive, but where a simpler alternative to full ATEX certification is desired.
