The Delfin DM2 INERT 1/2D is a powerful ATEX-certified industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the collection and neutralization of explosive and reactive dusts in Zone 21 environments. The system uses an inert oil bath that immediately encapsulates and cools the collected material, eliminating ignition risk. Certified by a Notified Body according to EN 17348, it is used in our solution “When a moment’s mistake turns explosive”, where inert technology prevents small handling errors from turning into explosive events.

Technical construction
The DM2 INERT 1/2D is equipped with two independent bypass motors that ensure strong and constant suction when handling high-density reactive dusts. The integrated INERT tank mixes the collected material with a neutral, non-conductive oil that displaces oxygen (< 10%) and prevents oxidation and self-ignition. The M-class antistatic star filter protects the motors, while the HEPA H14 filter provides final separation with 99.995% efficiency according to EN 1822-5.
