The Delfin DM 2 INERT Z21 is a robust industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the safe collection of large amounts of gunpowder and metal dust in the most hazardous areas of indoor shooting ranges. With Notified Body certification (IECEx/ATEX 1/2D) and H14 HEPA filtration, it effectively neutralizes reactive dust in full compliance with the strictest EU ATEX and occupational health requirements.
Certified safety – ATEX Zone 21
The DM 2 INERT Z21 is approved for use in Zone 21 (II 1/2D) and operates in an internal Zone 20 environment. Its liquid bath technology neutralizes dust directly in inert fluid, eliminating the risk of sparks, heat buildup, or static electricity. Certification by Notified Body 0081 provides documented safety for explosive dust.
Why the liquid bath is essential
Even ATEX-certified vacuums can be insufficient in Zone 21 if they only use dry collection. With the DM 2 INERT Z21’s oil-based neutralization, the ignition chain is broken directly inside the collection tank, making it the ideal solution for gunpowder, reactive metals, and unknown dust.
Complete protection and high capacity
The DM 2 INERT Z21 combines H14 HEPA filtration (99.995% retention at MPPS according to EN 1822) with full ESD grounding, manual filter cleaning, and a large 100-liter AISI304 stainless steel tank. With dual motors, strong suction power, and a durable construction, the model is designed for continuous operation in facilities handling high dust volumes.
