Technical construction
The MTL 801 1/3D uses an antistatic filter (5,000 cm², Ø 420 mm) made of M-class polyester that effectively retains dry and potentially combustible dust. A HEPA H14 filter with 11,000 cm² surface area is tested according to EN 1822-5 (MPPS method) with 99.995 % efficiency. The motor delivers 2,500 mm H₂O vacuum and 180 m³/h airflow. The filter housing and collection tank are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the motor head and frame are made of painted steel.
Safety and applications
- Certified for internal Zone 20 and external Zone 22 (II 1/3D Da/Dc)
- All components are antistatic and fully grounded (< 10⁶ Ω)
- Complies with EN 17348, EN IEC 62784 and IEC 60335-2-69
- Suitable for dry materials, dust, and non-conductive liquids
- Not suitable for combustible or conductive liquids
Technical note
The Delfin MTL 801 1/3D is designed for areas where both dry and wet materials must be collected, provided that the liquids are non-flammable and non-conductive. It is fully ATEX-certified for Zone 22 (category 1/3D), offering internal Zone 20 protection and a dust-tight IP64 construction. The AISI 304 stainless steel tank combined with the TA.0271.0000 wet and dry antistatic kit ensures safe and compliant operation in mixed-use environments. Always use conductive accessories and regularly verify grounding resistance.
