NORRES CONNECT 240 + 241 AS
Soft hose sleeve for connecting hoses, pipes and fittings
The NORRES CONNECT 240 + 241 AS is a flexible, highly durable sleeve made of Pre-PUR® polyurethane, designed for quick and tight connection of suction and pressure hoses. Version 240 is the standard type, while version 241 features a permanently antistatic wall with a surface resistance of approx. 10⁹ Ω. Both variants are gas- and liquid-tight when supplied as pre-assembled versions and are available in multiple dimensions for NORRES AIRDUC®, PROTAPE® and CP series hoses.
Properties and design
- Quick and easy installation – reusable (threaded version).
- Gas- and liquid-tight in pre-assembled version.
- Highly abrasion-resistant and resistant to microbes and hydrolysis.
- Good resistance to oils, fuels and many chemicals.
- Version 241: permanently antistatic wall, electrical and surface resistance approx. 10⁹ Ω.
- Temperature range –40 °C … +90 °C (short-term up to 125 °C).
- Material: special ester-based polyurethane (Pre-PUR®).
- Complies with RoHS and REACH directives.
Applications
For joining and connecting flexible industrial hoses to vacuum cleaners, suction and sweeping vehicles, cleaning machines, and process equipment. Ideal where quick disassembly and maintenance are required.
Technical note
In ATEX environments, version 241 is recommended since the permanently antistatic wall ensures proper dissipation of electrostatic charges between hose, coupling and machine. Always use suitable clamps or threaded connections to maintain electrical continuity and tightness under vacuum or overpressure.
