NORRES CONNECT 240 EC
Soft electrically conductive hose sleeve for suction and pressure hoses
The NORRES CONNECT 240 EC is a flexible and highly durable sleeve made of Pre-PUR® (electrically conductive ester-based polyurethane) designed for quick and reliable connection of industrial hoses in systems where static electricity may occur. The material provides both surface and volume resistance of <10³ Ω (in accordance with NFPA 652 <10⁶ Ω), ensuring safe dissipation of static charges in ATEX-classified areas.

Applications
For connecting electrically conductive suction and pressure hoses on industrial vacuum systems, extraction lines and process equipment. Especially suitable for use in ATEX zones where safe grounding and low electrical resistance are required to prevent spark formation.
Technical note
The CONNECT 240 EC is designed for use with NORRES AIRDUC® and PROTAPE® EC series hoses as well as other conductive hoses. For proper equipotential bonding, the sleeve must be mechanically connected to metal components or grounded fittings. Its combination of low resistance (<10³ Ω) and robust Pre-PUR® construction makes it ideal for dust and powder handling in Zone 21 and 22 installations.
