Food-grade flanged pipe in stainless steel – for NORRES hoses and Jacob systems
NORRES CONNECT 243 FOOD is a stainless-steel flanged pipe designed for use in food, pharmaceutical and process industries where hygiene, tightness and durability are critical. The pipe is compatible with common ducting systems such as the Jacob standard and is available both as a reusable threaded version and as a pre-fitted gas- and liquid-tight version.

Applications
CONNECT 243 FOOD is used for conveying, dosing and vacuum extraction of food, granules, powder and pharmaceutical materials in hygienic environments. Typical applications include vacuum conveying systems, dosing units, tablet presses, pelleting machines and suction conveyors in food and pharma production.
Technical note
In hygienic installations requiring both ATEX and FDA conformity, CONNECT 243 FOOD ensures mechanical stability and electrical continuity between hose, coupling and pipe. Use stainless-steel clamps and approved gaskets to maintain the system’s food-grade compliance.
