Heavy-duty tapered flange coupling for vacuum and suction vehicles – robust, tight and reusable
The NORRES CONNECT 245 VAC-TRUCK is a tapered flange coupling system designed for suction and vacuum vehicles such as vacuum excavators, sludge collectors and sweepers. It is built for heavy-duty operation, frequent assembly and disassembly, and high mechanical stress. Available in standard, soft, reinforced and pre-fitted versions – the latter providing a gas- and liquid-tight moulded connection between flange and hose.

- Tapered flange coupling for quick and secure mounting on vacuum hoses.

- Highly abrasion-resistant and hydrolysis-resistant Pre-PUR® wall.
- Resistant to oils, gasoline and many chemicals.
- Complies with RoHS and REACH directives.
- Temperature range –40 °C to +90 °C.
Materials
- Wall: Ether-based Pre-PUR® polyurethane.
- Flange: Reinforced tapered black flange with steel insert (depending on version).
- Clamp: Quick-release or reinforced clamp (optional).
Technical note
For vertical installation, always secure the flange and hose with additional mounting or safety chains, as material weight may generate shear forces. The CONNECT 245 VAC-TRUCK is designed to maintain tightness under vacuum and impact stress but requires proper selection of hardness and reinforcement. The reinforced version is recommended for continuous use in high-abrasion vacuum and suction systems.
