Antistatic spiral hose connector for joining, extending and repairing hoses
The NORRES CONNECT 246 AS is a durable and antistatic spiral hose connector designed for quick and secure assembly of industrial hoses. It is used to connect two hoses, extend existing lengths, or perform on-site repairs without special tools. Made from permanently antistatic Pre-PUR® polyurethane, it withstands high mechanical stress and elevated temperatures.

- Highly abrasion-resistant and hydrolysis-resistant Pre-PUR® material.
- Resistant to oils, gasoline and many chemicals.
- Complies with RoHS and REACH regulations.
- Temperature range –40 °C to +90 °C (short-term up to +125 °C).
Materials
- Wall: Ether-based Pre-PUR® polyurethane (antistatic).
- Colour: Black (standard), available in full-coloured special versions on request.
Technical note
CONNECT 246 AS provides an electrically conductive bridge between two spiral hoses, ensuring proper equipotential bonding in ATEX environments. The permanently antistatic wall prevents electrostatic charge build-up and reduces ignition risk during vacuum conveying or suction. For optimal conductivity, it should be used together with antistatic hoses such as AIRDUC® PUR 355 AS or PROTAPE® PUR 301 AS.
