Tank truck coupling in brass – EN 14420-6
The NORRES CONNECT TANK TRUCK BRASS 252 is a robust brass coupling for tankers and silos – suitable for loading, unloading and conveying of dry media and liquids. The series includes hose tails (corrugated or smooth), coupling parts with internal thread (Type FC / Type MC) and matching seals. Manufactured according to EN 14420-6. Not suitable for explosive liquids (Group 1) and not part of the Pressure Equipment Directive. Complies with REACH.
Properties and design
- Standard: EN 14420-6.
- Material: brass.
- Versions: hose adapter with male thread (corrugated tail), hose adapter with male thread (smooth tail + locking ring), coupling parts with female thread (Type FC / Type MC) and sealing rings (NBR lip seal, PU thread seal).
- Not suitable for explosive liquids (Group 1) and not PED equipment.
Applications
For silo and tanker systems: filling, unloading and transfer of dry media (powder or granulate) and liquids in industrial and transport applications.
Technical note
Select the hose tail according to hose type: corrugated tail for clamping assembly (CONNECT 229) and smooth tail with locking ring for safety clamp assembly (CONNECT 231). Always check the correct seal type (NBR lip or PU thread seal) and replace regularly to maintain tightness under vacuum and pressure. Data and order numbers as per EN datasheet.
