NORRES NORPLAST® PUR 385 AIRFLEX AS
Lightweight antistatic PUR hose with integrated rigid PVC spiral
NORRES NORPLAST® PUR 385 AIRFLEX AS is a lightweight, antistatic and microbe-resistant suction and transport hose made from premium ester-polyurethane (Pre-PUR®) with an embedded rigid PVC spiral. The hose has a smooth interior for optimal flow and low friction and is designed for conveying and extraction of powder, granulate, dust and air in industrial systems and cleaning equipment.
Applications
Typical fields of use include:
- Transport and extraction of powder, granules and bulk materials
- Dust and particle extraction in production and process systems
- Blasting and surface preparation systems, cleaning and recovery units
- Textile machinery and fibre extraction (spinning, weaving and knitting)
- Feed and process installations in the food and feed industry (no direct food contact)
- Cable protection for X-ray and MRI scanners (special versions available)
- Municipal and industrial cleaning vehicles and floor scrubbers
Properties and approvals
- Lightweight construction with high flexibility
- Permanently antistatic wall – surface resistance approx. 10⁹ Ω according to ISO 8031
- Microbe-resistant and chemical-resistant
- Phthalate-free, RoHS and REACH compliant
- Smooth inner wall for easy cleaning and low pressure loss
- Temperature range: −20 °C to +70 °C (short term up to +80 °C)
Design
1 = Rigid PVC spiral embedded in wall
2 = Wall made of permanently antistatic ester-polyurethane (Pre-PUR®)
3 = NORPLAST® all-plastic construction with smooth interior
