Thread adapter for process and vacuum systems – DIN ISO 228
The NORRES CONNECT THREAD FITTING 234 is a durable thread adapter designed for tight, reliable connections between hoses and system components in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Available in aluminium, electro-galvanised steel, stainless steel AISI 304, and stainless steel AISI 316L – all with cylindrical pipe threads according to DIN ISO 228. Also available as a pre-assembled, gas- and liquid-tight version.
Properties and design
- Cylindrical thread reference: DIN ISO 228 (G-thread).
- Temperature range: -40 °C to +90 °C.
- Conforms to RoHS and REACH.
- Material options: aluminium, electro-galvanised steel, stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L).
- Available as gas- and liquid-tight pre-assembled version.
Applications
Developed for vacuum conveying and process installations such as vacuum conveyors, suction hoppers, dosing systems, pelleting machines and tablet presses used in food and pharmaceutical production.
Technical note
Select the adapter according to the hose I.D. and required thread standard. In ATEX installations, ensure proper potential equalisation between hose, coupling and machine. Stainless steel versions are recommended for high-hygiene areas, frequent cleaning or SIP processes.
