Liquid recovery vacuum for acids and corrosive liquids – chemical-resistant on Hydro Cart
The Tiger-Vac 2D-ARU-15 STD (HY-C) MRAC is a chemical-resistant wet vacuum designed for safe recovery of acids, bases and other corrosive liquids in pharma, laboratories and chemical processing. The robust 1 kW motor, 47 L tank and Hydro Cart chassis make it ideal for planned cleaning, spill recovery and service tasks where a standard wet vac is not sufficient.
- Tank and components in acid-resistant polyethylene, nylon and PVC.
- Single-phase 240 V / 50 Hz, 2-stage by-pass motor (1,050 W).
- Liquid filter included as standard.
- Can be equipped with activated carbon cartridges for vapor adsorption – choose by application:
- AC – organic solvents / VOCs
- ACID / KINA 3® – acid vapors (e.g., HF, HCl)
- AMMO – ammonia
- FORM – formaldehyde
- MER – mercury vapor
- UNI – broad-spectrum / mixed vapors
- Complete tool kit included (hose, wands, nozzles and drain hose).
Construction
The Hydro Cart provides stable transport and safe handling of weight and volume. Materials and seals are optimised for corrosive media to reduce leakage risk and extend service life. 38 mm camlock inlet for efficient liquid transfer.

- Non-ATEX – for non-explosive environments with corrosive liquids.
- Suitable for cleanrooms (up to ISO Class 7) and chemical process areas.
- Always use appropriate PPE (e.g., EN 14605, EN 14126) and follow local chemical procedures.

Can it be used for flammable liquids or in ATEX zones?
No. This model is not ATEX-certified and must only be used in non-explosive environments.
Which liquids can it handle?
Acids, bases and other corrosive liquids. Choose the carbon cartridge according to the vapors expected.
Is a carbon cartridge included?
No. Carbon cartridges are ordered separately and installed as needed.
Is the tool kit included?
