Chemical-resistant liquid recovery vacuum on Hydro Cart
The Tiger-Vac 2D-ARU-15 STD (HY-C) MRAC is a chemical-resistant wet vacuum designed for safe recovery of acids, bases and other corrosive liquids in pharmaceutical, laboratory and chemical environments. Equipped with a robust 1 kW by-pass motor, a stable Hydro Cart trolley and a 47 L liquid tank, it is ideal for cleaning and spill recovery where standard wet vacuums are not suitable.
- Tank and components in acid-resistant polyethylene, nylon and PVC.
- Single-phase 240 V / 50 Hz, 2-stage by-pass motor (1,050 W).
- Liquid filter included as standard for motor and seal protection.
- Can be equipped with activated carbon cartridges for vapor adsorption:
- AC – organic solvents / VOCs
- ACID / KINA 3® – acid vapors (HF, HCl, etc.)
- AMMO – ammonia vapors
- FORM – formaldehyde
- MER – mercury vapors
- UNI – broad-spectrum / mixed vapors
- Complete tool kit included (hose, wands, nozzles and drain hose).
Construction and materials
The Hydro Cart frame ensures stability and ergonomic handling during draining or transport. All seals and materials are corrosion-resistant to guarantee long service life in harsh environments. The 38 mm camlock suction inlet provides low pressure loss and efficient liquid recovery.
Filtration and vapor control
The 2D-ARU-15 STD (HY-C) MRAC comes with a liquid filter as standard. Optional carbon cartridges can be added depending on the type of liquid handled. The combination of liquid filter and the correct carbon cartridge ensures optimal protection for operators and the environment.

- Non-ATEX model – for non-explosive environments with corrosive or chemical liquids.
- Complies with IEC 60335-2-69 (ACD classification) for leak-tightness and safe filtration.
- Suitable for cleanrooms up to ISO Class 7 and chemical process areas.
