ATEX Zone 20/22 vacuum cleaner for safe collection of combustible dust
The Tiger-Vac C-10 EX (4W) EU is an ATEX and IECEx certified industrial vacuum designed for the safe recovery of combustible dust in Zone 20 (internal) and Zone 22 (external) areas. It features four individually tested H14 filters, conductive recovery bags and a complete ESD-safe tool kit. The unit is ideal for general cleaning and maintenance in production areas where explosive dust may occur.

- Motor: 1.2 kW (two-stage by-pass) – brushless (BLSD) version available for continuous operation.

- Recovery: 19 L conductive cloth filter bag tested for ESD safety.
- Tank: stainless steel Type 430 or optional AISI 304.
- Tested according to EN 17348 for combustible dust collection (LCIE 15 ATEX 3061).
Technical design
The C-10 EX (4W) EU is mounted on a four-wheel dolly for maximum stability and mobility. The ESD-safe motor is equipped with a filter blockage indicator that signals when the recovery bag is full. The system provides high filtration efficiency and ESD-safe airflow. All H14 filters are individually factory-tested and meet EN 1822-5 with 99.995% efficiency (MPPS method).

- Zone 20 inside the vacuum (recovery tank and air path – 1D) and Zone 22 on outer surfaces (3D).

Technical note
When collecting combustible dust in Zone 20/22 environments, all system components must be conductive and properly grounded to avoid static build-up. The Tiger-Vac C-10 EX (4W) EU is third-party certified (ATEX and IECEx) and designed for safe dust recovery directly into the tank and filter bag. Use only the supplied ESD-tested hoses and tools and regularly verify grounding resistance (<10⁶ Ω) to maintain compliance with EN 17348.

What does II 1/3D (Da/Dc) mean?
The unit is certified for very high protection inside the vacuum (Zone 20 – inner chambers, filter and tank) and enhanced protection on the outer surfaces and surroundings (Zone 22).
