The Tiger-Vac C-25 EX TC WET & DRY BLSD 1/3D is a stainless steel, mobile ATEX-certified industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the safe recovery of combustible dust (Zone 20 internal / Zone 22 external) and non-flammable liquids. The BLSD version features a long-life brushless motor (1.1 kW) providing a lower surface temperature (T85°C) and extended service life, while maintaining high performance and certified safety in explosive dust environments.

Technical design
The BLSD model is built around a heavy-duty Type 304 stainless steel tank offering 56.8 L dry recovery and 64.4 L liquid capacity, mounted on a strong Tilt Cart (TC) with stainless steel drain valve. The brushless motor delivers a high airflow of 216 m³/h at a noise level of 72 dB(A). Filtration includes a 3,480 cm² primary cloth filter and 4 individually factory-tested HEPA H14 filters with a combined surface area of 20,253 cm², ensuring extremely high filtration efficiency in both dry and wet applications.

Technical note
The BLSD version is especially suited for installations where a low surface temperature (T85°C) is required for ignition source control and where extended motor lifetime reduces operational cost. Internal Zone 20 certification allows combustible dust to be safely collected into the tank and filter housing. To maintain ATEX compliance, all hoses, wands and tools must be static dissipative and bonded to a grounding system below 10⁶ Ω.

What is the difference between the BLSD and the standard model?
The BLSD has a brushless motor, lower temperature class (T85°C) and a longer lifetime. The standard model (1.2 kW) is T200°C with a traditional by-pass motor.
Can it collect both dust and liquids?
Yes, the vacuum is approved for combustible dust and non-flammable liquids (LC).
How is the filtration system designed?
A primary cloth filter plus 4 HEPA H14 filters (20,253 cm² total). Every HEPA filter is factory-tested.
Is the accessory kit ATEX-tested?
No. Accessories are never ATEX-tested but follow ESD principles and must be correctly bonded and grounded.
Why choose the BLSD version?
When low surface temperature, long motor lifetime and reduced maintenance are required, the BLSD version is preferred.
