Tiger-Vac CD-100L (DT) EX (MFS) 2D
ATEX Zone 21 industrial vacuum cleaner with detachable tank and manual filter system
The Tiger-Vac CD-100L (DT) EX (MFS) CAT. 2D Z21 is a three-phase, continuous-duty industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the safe recovery of combustible and conductive dusts in Zone 21 areas. The unit features fully third-party tested ATEX and IECEx certification (LCIE 03 ATEX 6295 X / IECEx LCI 10.0040X), a manometer, a manual filter shaker system and a large 100 L detachable recovery tank for safe dust disposal.
- ATEX marking: II 1/2D – external: Ex h tb IIIC T135°C Db IP65, internal: Ex h IIIC T50°C Da.
- Certified by notified body LCIE (0081) – full third-party ATEX & IECEx testing.
- Motor: 3-phase TEFC – dust-tight and explosion-proof motor enclosure.
- Filter: 12-pocket conductive PTFE star filter (19,500 cm²) + optional downstream H14 HEPA.
- 100 L stainless steel Type 304 detachable tank (DT).
- Complete static dissipative Ø50 mm tool kit included.
Technical design
The CD-100L series is equipped with a True Cyclone Separator System at the suction intake, reducing the load on the main filter and improving airflow and overall performance. The Manual Filter Shaker (MFS) system releases captured dust without compressed air. The entire construction is stainless steel (AISI 304) with conductive components and ESD-safe wheels to ensure correct grounding performance.
Safety and certification
- ATEX marking: II 1/2D – internal Zone 20 (Da) / external Zone 21 (Db).
- IECEx-certified motor system – approved for Dust Group IIIC.
- Temperature range: –5°C to +37°C.
- Compliant with EN 17348 for combustible dust collection.
- System resistance below 10 Ω – fully ESD safe.
Technical note
The model is certified by notified body LCIE (0081), ensuring complete ATEX compliance for the recovery of combustible and conductive dusts. Internal certification (Da) allows safe direct collection of explosive dust inside the filter chamber and tank. The detachable 100 L DT tank ensures safe, low-exposure waste handling. Always use conductive hoses and antistatic accessories to maintain grounding resistance below 10⁶ Ω throughout the system.

FAQ
Is the unit certified by a notified body?
Yes. The model is ATEX and IECEx certified by LCIE (0081), providing full third-party compliance.
Can it recover conductive metal dust?
Yes – it is designed for combustible and conductive dusts (IIIC) with a system resistance below 10 Ω.
How is the filter cleaned?
By the Manual Filter Shaker (MFS), which loosens dust from the main filter without compressed air.
Can a HEPA filter be added?
Yes – downstream HEPA H14 (99.995%) or ULPA U15 (99.9995%) filters are available.
How is the dust removed?
Via the detachable 100 L DT tank, which can be released and wheeled away for safe disposal.
