Tiger-Vac CD-1200 EX PAINTED AUT 1/2GD
ATEX dust collector for process-related extraction in Zone 1 and 21 – with internal Zone 0 / 20 classification
Tiger-Vac CD-1200 EX PAINTED AUT 1/2GD is a mobile ATEX dust collector designed for process-related extraction of airborne and suspended dust in industrial environments with explosive atmospheres. The unit is ATEX classified as II 1/2GD and is intended for use in Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust), with an internal classification for Zone 0 (gas) and Zone 20 (dust).
The dust collector operates on the principle of low vacuum and high airflow and is designed for efficient capture of dust directly at the source. With a documented airflow of 2,000 m³/h, the CD-1200 EX can be connected to two Ø150 mm extraction arms or to a single Ø200 mm hose or duct connection.
Applications
CD-1200 EX PAINTED AUT 1/2GD is used for process-related point extraction in environments where ATEX-compliant extraction is required in both gas and dust zones. The automatic filter cleaning system makes this version particularly suitable for continuous or dust-intensive processes where stable airflow is essential.
- Point extraction at open process points in Zone 1 and Zone 21
- Process extraction during filling, dosing and material handling
- Extraction above conveyors and material transfer points
- Recovery of airborne, combustible and conductive dust
Key features
- ATEX classification: II 1/2GD
- External use: Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust)
- Internal classification: Zone 0 (gas) and Zone 20 (dust)
- Airflow: 2,000 m³/h
- Automatic filter cleaning – Automatic Reverse Purge (ARP)
- Multi-stage filtration system as standard
- Painted, heavy-duty industrial housing
Standard filtration system
The dust collector is supplied as standard with a multi-stage filtration system designed for safe handling of combustible dust:
- Conductive aluminized spun-bond cartridge filter (12 m² filter area)
- Metal mesh spark trap as a mechanical pre-filter
- Carbon after-filter to improve exhaust air quality
Technical design
The CD-1200 EX PAINTED AUT 1/2GD is equipped with a 3-phase TEFC motor designed for continuous duty. The motor is third-party certified, while the complete machine is ATEX type-examined by a Notified Body (LCIE) and marked in accordance with the ATEX Directive.
Filter cleaning is performed automatically via a reverse purge compressed-air system with an integrated air tank. Collected dust is discharged into a pull-out dust drawer with a capacity of 10 litres.
All wheels and structural components are electrically conductive, and the unit is designed as an ESD-safe system.
Optional equipment
- HEPA filter module for additional downstream filtration
- Extraction arms: 2 × Ø150 mm or 1 × Ø200 mm
- Differential pressure gauge (filter blockage indicator)
- Wall mounting bracket for extraction arms
Safety and certification
