Tiger-Vac CD-25 EX MRAC (HY-C) 1/2GD
Explosion proof vacuum cleaner for fuel and solvent recovery in Zone 1/21 (1/2GD) – stainless steel, continuous duty and hydraulic cart
The Tiger-Vac CD-25 EX MRAC (HY-C) 1/2GD is a legally ATEX and IECEx certified industrial vacuum cleaner made of AISI 304 stainless steel, designed for continuous duty and the safe recovery of flammable liquids, vapors and solvents in combined ATEX zones (Zone 1/21 and Zone 0/20 internal).
The system features a **hydraulic cart (HY-C)** for safe and ergonomic emptying and an integrated **MRAC module (Middle Ring with Activated Carbon)** for the adsorption of fuel and solvent vapors.
The model is based on experience from the U.S. Air Force MEEP program and is used for defueling and depuddling of F-16, F-35 and other aircraft types where both safety and continuous operation are essential.
It can also be used in civilian or industrial environments such as aircraft hangars, fuel depots and chemical facilities.

FAQ
What does 1/2GD classification mean?
It means the vacuum is approved for operation in both internal Zone 0/20 and external Zone 1/21 areas, allowing safe use inside tanks or containers with flammable liquids.
What is the MRAC system?
MRAC (Middle Ring Activated Carbon) is an integrated filter module with 8 kg of activated carbon for adsorbing vapors from fuels and solvents during recovery.
How does the hydraulic cart (HY-C) work?
The HY-C cart uses a hydraulic lifting mechanism to discharge the stainless-steel tank directly into approved containers without manual lifting – ideal for heavy fuel or solvent loads.
Can it be used in civilian environments?
Yes. It is approved for both military and industrial applications including fuel handling, chemical production and aircraft maintenance.
Is it third-party certified?
Yes. ATEX certified by LCIE and IECEx approved in accordance with EN 17348 (Liquids Collection).
