Tiger-Vac CD-35L (DT) EX (MRP) EXTENDED 2GD

ATEX Zone 1/21 industrial vacuum cleaner with Reverse Purge filter system

The Tiger-Vac CD-35L (DT) EX (MRP) EXTENDED CAT. 2GD Z1/21 is an ATEX and IECEx certified industrial vacuum cleaner designed for the safe recovery of combustible dusts and flammable gases in hazardous areas. The unit is classified II 1/2GD with internal Zone 0/20 and external Zone 1/21 protection, making it suitable for both explosive gas atmospheres and conductive dust (Dust Group IIIC).

Reverse Purge filter system (MRP)

This model uses the Tiger-Vac Manual Reverse Purge (MRP) system, where a strong reverse airflow pulse cleans the filter cartridge without manual shaking. The primary cartridge filter is a static dissipative aluminized spun-bond media with high mechanical strength, low pressure drop and excellent performance on fine dry dust.

EX-rated construction for gas and dust zones

The external protection features Ex db h IIB T4 Gb for safe use in Zone 1 gas environments, while the internal chamber is certified for Zone 0 (gas) and Zone 20 (dust). This provides one of the highest combined ATEX/IECEx classifications available for industrial vacuum systems.

Continuous-duty motor and stainless steel design

The CD-35L EXTENDED is built with a 3-phase TEFC explosion-proof motor designed for continuous operation. The vacuum body and 35 L detachable tank (DT) are made from AISI 304 stainless steel, mounted on a robust powder-coated steel frame. The system is fully ESD-safe with total system resistance below 10 ohms.

High-efficiency HEPA/ULPA filtration options

For applications requiring the highest filtration performance, optional downstream HEPA H14 (99.995% @ 0.3 µm) or ULPA U15 (99.9995% @ 0.12 µm) modules are available. All filters are aerosol leak tested according to EN 1822 and IEST RP standards.
